Metal X Referral Program

The referral program rewards both the referrer and referee, applicable only to new wallets/accounts.

The program applies only to fees from the DEX section, not the Swap section.
 

How to refer someone to Metal X?

  1. Visit the Metal X website and connect your WebAuth Wallet
  2. Scroll down to the DEX page and click "Fees" at the bottom left
  3. Your Referral Code will appear in the right window
  4. The link should appear like https://app.metalx.com/dex?referrer=testing24
  5. Copy the code or the link and send it to your peer
  6.  Open it in your mobile phone or PC browser
  7. Connect your WebAuth Wallet app, and complete your first transaction on Metal X DEX, such as placing a market order to sell XPR for XMD
  8. Both you and your referral will receive a discount

There’s no limit on referrals, but each account can use only one referral code. Referee rewards last for 1 year.

Referral example:

  1. John refers Dohn.
  2. Dohn creates an account on XPR Network and deposits $500 USDC.
  3. Dohn buys $500 XUSDC worth of XPR (500,000 XPR).
    • Dohn is the taker in this transaction.
  4. Dohn pays 0.95 XUSDC as a fee (1 XUSDC base fee Tier 1 minus 5% reduction).
  5. John receives 25% of the fee, which is 0.237500 XUSDC.

You need to initiate a DEX transaction first by using the Referral code. Before proceeding with any decentralized exchange (DEX) transaction, it is essential to enter the Referral code. This step ensures that any benefits, rewards, or tracking associated with the referral program are properly applied to your transaction. Without using the Referral code at the beginning of your transaction, you may miss out on exclusive offers or incentives that are available through the referral system. Therefore, make sure to input the Referral code before initiating your DEX transaction to take full advantage of the program.
