Crafting a clear and concise title for your proposal is crucial as it will be the first thing readers see when browsing proposals. Your title should accurately reflect the content of your proposal and effectively communicate its purpose.
Enter your proposed title in the designated "Title" text box.
Enter the complete text of your proposal in the "Description" text box provided below. The 'Description' text box includes a text editor and supports markdown, which allows you to import text from other documents or websites while retaining formatting.
This feature can be helpful for ensuring that your proposal is presented clearly and accurately.
If applicable, you may include a link to an existing discussion related to your proposal. This could include links to relevant forum threads, Discord or Telegram channels, and other online discussions.
Providing a link can help to provide additional context and support for your proposal.
Please review your proposal carefully before proceeding. This will ensure that all necessary information has been included and that your proposal is ready for submission.
Once you have completed your review, click on the "Continue" button to proceed with the submission of your proposal.
Each community has a specific set of validation strategies to determine eligibility for voting on proposals.
In this example for XPR Network, users who hold both staked and unstaked balances of XPR are eligible to cast their votes, which is defined in the "Select strategy box".
If you are unsure about the meaning of a specific validation strategy for your selected community, we recommend referring to the community guidelines or reaching out to community administrators for clarification.
Select a strategy here to continue (if there are multiple).
Choose a voting system that aligns with your preferences. Here are the options available:
- Single-choice voting: Allows a user to select only one option with 100% voting power.
- Approval voting: Allows a user to select several options, and each option has the same voting power of 100%.
- Weighted voting: Allows a user to spread their voting power across any number of choices, from one to all.
Input voting choices in the "Voting Options" field, and make sure to provide clear descriptions so that voters understand how to cast their vote.
After entering a choice, click on "Add" to confirm the choice.
Choose the start and end dates to specify the duration of the proposal.
To proceed, click on the "Publish" button.
