This article outlines the trading fee structure on Metal Pay Connect.

• Base Trading Fees:
  • The base rate for trading fees on Metal Pay is 2% for all sales and purchases of coins other than BTC, MTL, XPR, and USDC.
  • BTC has a 0.5% fee for buying.
  • MTL, XPR, LOAN, and METAL have a 0.5% fee for buying.
  • USDC has 0% fees for buying.
  • LTC, HBAR, XLM, XRP have a 3% fee for buying.
• Additional Fees:
  • You will incur additional card processing fees, which will vary by card type (debit, credit) and country. Click here to learn more.
• Holding Metal DAO (MTL) Benefits: Holding Metal DAO (MTL) provides a fee reduction when buying and selling cryptocurrency in proportion to your in-app MTL balance:
  • If you hold 2,000 MTL, you’ll receive a 25% trading fee discount.
  • If you hold 4,000 MTL, you’ll receive a 50% trading fee discount.
  • If you hold 10,000 MTL, you’ll pay 0 trading fees.
