This article will outline how you can verify your WebAuth Wallet account.
⚠️ Verification is available to 140+ countries globally. New York State, Russia, and OFAC-sanctioned regions are barred from all features.
⚠️ For our non-US customers, please submit your passport for the best chances at approval.
Getting Started:
1. Open the Metallicus Identity web page.
2. Connect WebAuth Wallet
You can use your WebAuth Wallet app to verify your XPR Network account. To verify a Metal Blockchain account, use other wallets such as Coinbase Wallet, MetaMask, or Trust Wallet. (Native Metal Blockchain verification in WebAuth Wallet coming soon, as well as shared verification across XPR Network, Metal Blockchain, Metal Pay and Metal L2)
3. Select Mobile.
On desktop, you will need to scan the QR presented with your WebAuth Wallet scanner. On mobile, tap "Open Wallet". Follow the authorization steps presented by your WebAuth mobile wallet.
4. Back on the Metallicus Identity web page, enter your home address.
To display the green checkmark next to your name: Note that you need to select 'Display full legal name on-chain for visual checkmark' to have a checkmark next to your name (optional)
5. On the desktop, you will need to scan the 2nd QR code presented with your mobile device's regular camera to open the linked URL and begin the ID and selfie verification flow. On mobile, scan the QR code that reads "Identity Verification"
6. Follow the directions on your mobile device and take front and back images of your valid government ID. (For our non-US customers, if verification fails with your government ID, please submit your passport.)
7. Take a selfie when prompted. If approved, your basic verification is complete and you can use Metal X and Metal X Lending. (US customers will need to provide SSN to use the Metal X Bridge.)
8. To gain full access to the XPR Network, continue with the following steps.
Back on the Metallicus Identity web page, enter your SSN or Tax ID.
- SSN (U.S. Only):
- If you're submitting an SSN, please make sure to double-check that it's correct before submitting.
- Your account will then be reviewed once SSN is submitted. Once approved, you're fully verified to use all of the XPR Network dApp features!
- If you're submitting an SSN, please make sure to double-check that it's correct before submitting.
- Tax ID and Questionnaire (non-U.S. Only):
- If you're submitting a Tax ID number, please make sure to double-check that it's correct before submitting.
- Once your Tax ID number is submitted, please fill out the questionnaire.
- Your account will then be reviewed once Tax ID number and Questionnaire are submitted. Once approved, you're fully verified to use all of the XPR Network dApp features!
- If you're submitting a Tax ID number, please make sure to double-check that it's correct before submitting.
⚠️ Some accounts might be reviewed manually by our Account Review team, within 24 hours.
