The WebAuth Wallet is the official wallet of XPR Network and METAL Blockchain – faster, more powerful, and more secure than before, but built by the same team that you know and trust. And much like its predecessor, it is a non-custodial wallet - meaning the Private Keys are stored locally on your device.
⚠️ If you are planning to migrate your XPR Network and Metal Blockchain accounts to the WebAuth app, we strongly recommend backing up your private key before proceeding.
Before starting
- IMPORTANT: Backup your Private Key from the WebAuth Wallet
- An XPR Network private key will only restore the XPR Network account. A Metal Blockchain private key will only restore the Metal Blockchain account. The 12 word seed phrase mnemonic will recover both accounts.
Detailed Steps
Step 1: Open WebAuth on your device.
Step 2: Tap on the ‘Login’ link on the bottom of the screen.
Step 3: Click 'Import Account'
Step 4: Enter your private key or mnemonic phrase in the field provided.
Step 5: Your XPR Network account has been restored on WebAuth from your private key!
⚠️ Metallicus Client Services cannot see or recover your Private Key. If you do not write it down, you will not be able to restore access to your WebAuth mobile account and your funds will be permanently lost. Click here to learn how to keep your private key(s) secure.
