How do I add my devices on the WebAuth browser wallet?

This article will guide you through registering your device on the WebAuth browser wallet, giving you an additional way to connect your wallet and authorize transactions within the XPR Network ecosystem.

⚠️ Please note that private keys cannot be retrieved from the WebAuth browser wallet. Be sure to back up your private keys from the WebAuth mobile app or as soon as you're prompted during the account creation process.

⚠️ It's important to only add personal devices that you own. To keep your account safe, please do not share your XPR Network account credentials, Mnemonic Phrases, or Private Keys with anyone for any reason.

Before You Begin

• You will need to have an XPR Network account.
• You will also need to fund your account.

Let's Get Started

1. Visit WebAuth.com/login using your web browser.
2. Log in to your XPR Network account
   • Option 1: Click 'log in with mobile/desktop wallet' and scan the QR code using your WebAuth app.
   • Option 2: For future logins, you can enter your XPR Network username directly (the '@' will be pre-filled).
3. You will be taken to the 'Devices' section (located in the upper-left corner) where you can add a device using:
   1. Face/Touch ID
   2. Yubikey
   3. Ethereum

Touch ID

If you choose the Face/Touch ID option, please ensure you're using a device that supports these features (for example, an iPhone 13 that allows Face ID when enabled).

1. Select the Face/Touch ID option and verify it on your device.
2. A Public Key starting with "PUB_..." will be generated. This key is publicly visible to identify your device on the XPR Network Explorer. We recommend entering a Device Name to help identify your device(s) during authorizations.
3. Click 'Add Device'.

Yubikey

If you choose the Yubikey option, please ensure your Yubikey or Google Titan is connected to your device.

1. Select the Yubikey option and verify it on your device.
2. A Public Key starting with "PUB_..." will be generated. This key is publicly visible to identify your device on the XPR Network block explorer. We suggest entering a Device Name to help identify your device(s) during authorizations.
3. Click 'Add Device'.

Ethereum

If you choose the Ethereum option, ensure you have a platform that can withdraw and deposit on the ERC-20 network.

1. Select the Ethereum option and connect your Wallet
   • Whether you're on a Mobile or Desktop Browser, you can choose from your preferred wallet options or scan/paste the QR code within your wallet app.
   • Once connected, you will see a crypto address displayed in your Ethereum wallet.
   • We recommend entering a Device Name to help identify the WebAuth.com site when sending to or from that platform.

You should now see your registered device(s) on WebAuth by clicking on the key icon in the lower bar, allowing you to authorize transactions on the XPR Network without needing your WebAuth mobile wallet!

When connecting your wallet anywhere in the XPR Network ecosystem, you can now select the 'Web Wallet' option to link your XPR Network account!

To remove a linked device, you'll need to first add a second device to set as the default. Then, you can delete one of the linked devices by clicking on the three dots next to the device you wish to remove and selecting Delete.
