How to Unstake Liquidity Pool (LP) tokens from Farms and/or Pools?

This guide will help you easily unstake your Liquidity Pool (LP) tokens from both the Farm and Pools back into xTokens.

Before you begin:

• You’ll need to create an account and complete verification.
• Choose at least one pair of tokens from either the Farms or Liquidity Pool that you’d like to unstake.
  • If you're not sure whether you have LP tokens on Farm, check the 'You Staked' column under the 'Farm' tab.
  • If you're unsure about your LP tokens in the Pool, scroll down to 'Your Liquidity' under the 'Pools' tab.
• Key Terms
  • xTokens: Crypto wrapped in XPR Network (XPR).
  • Liquidity Pool (LP) Token: A pair of applicable xTokens that can be added or removed from both the Pools and Farms.

ℹ️  If you want to remove your LP tokens from BOTH the Farms and Pools, start by unstaking the LP tokens from the 'Farms' tab, then follow the same steps to unstake from the 'Pools' tab.

Steps to Follow:

Farming Basics:

1. In Metal X, go to the 'Farms' tab (https://app.metalx.com/farms), find the liquidity pair you want to unstake, and click on it.
2. Adjust the "Stake LP token" slider down as needed, then press Confirm.
   • To remove your entire LP stake from the Farm, slide the bar all the way to 0%. These LP tokens will then be available under the 'Pools' tab.
   • To remove a portion of your LP stake from the Farm, adjust the slider to your desired percentage. The LP token percentage you've removed will appear under the 'Pools' tab.

ℹ️  Not all Liquidity Pool (LP) token pairs created under the 'Pools' tab will show under the 'Farm' tab, which means that pair does not support Farming. If you can’t find the LP pair you want to remove under Farming or aren’t Farming at all, please skip to the "Liquidity Pool (LP)" section below.

Liquidity Pool (LP):

1. After unstaking your LP tokens from Farming, if you want your liquid assets back, head to the Pools tab (https://app.metalx.com/pools).
2. Find the pool where you added funds, adjust the slider down as needed, and press Adjust.
3. Your tokens will now be returned to you.

ℹ️  Due to impermanent loss, you might not receive back 100% of the tokens you initially added to the liquidity pool. This doesn’t necessarily mean you lost money; it usually happens when market prices rise compared to when you added to the liquidity pool. Feel free to reach out if you have more questions about this.

You have now successfully removed your LP tokens from either or both the Farms or Pools. Remember, you can always add back to them whenever you like!
