How to Add a Memo ID (Memo Tag/Destination Tag) for Deposits and Withdrawals of Crypto Assets on XPR Network (WebAuth Wallet)

Certain cryptocurrencies, such as XRP, XLM, HBAR, and Stellar USDC, require a Memo ID (Memo Tag/Destination Tag) when depositing or withdrawing funds. Failing to include the required Memo ID may result in a lost transaction.

Depositing Crypto Assets into XPR Network (WebAuth Wallet)

When depositing XRP, XLM, HBAR, Stellar USDC, or other cryptocurrencies that require a Memo ID, you must include the correct Memo ID provided by XPR Network (WebAuth Wallet). The Memo ID ensures that your deposit is correctly assigned to your account. If the Memo ID is missing or incorrect, your funds may not be credited and could be permanently lost.

Steps to Deposit with Memo ID:

  1. Log in to your WebAuth Wallet.
  2. Navigate to the Receive section.
  3. Select the cryptocurrency you want to deposit (XRP, XLM, HBAR, Stellar USDC, etc.).
  4. Select the chosen assets’ native network.
  5. Use the correct Deposit Address and Memo ID when receiving funds from your external wallet or exchange.

⚠ Important: Always double-check that you have entered the correct Deposit Address and Memo ID before confirming the transaction. If you forget to include the Memo ID, your deposit may be lost.

Withdrawing Crypto Assets from XPR Network (WebAuth Wallet)

When withdrawing XRP, XLM, HBAR, Stellar USDC, or other cryptocurrencies that require a Memo ID, check if the receiving wallet requires one. Some exchanges and wallets require a Memo ID to process deposits correctly.

Steps to Withdraw with Memo ID:

  1. Log in to your WebAuth Wallet.
  2. Navigate to the Send section.
  3. Select the cryptocurrency you want to withdraw.
  4. Enter the recipient’s Wallet Address.
  5. Check if the recipient’s wallet requires a Memo ID:
    • If required, enter the correct Memo ID.
    • If not required, leave this field blank.
  6. Confirm the transaction and wait for processing.

⚠ Important: If you fail to include the required Memo ID, your funds may not be credited to the recipient’s account and could be permanently lost. Always verify with the receiving wallet or exchange before proceeding.
